The MCYS Committee are proud to announce the Inaugural Martha Cove Yacht Squadron Inc Opening Day on Saturday the 5th October, 2019.
LIMITED PLACES REMAIN with RSVPs extended to 2nd Oct. Please email bookings@mcys.com.au with the number of members, guests and children and to organise payment.
The order of events on the day will be:
10:00 – MCYS Members and Crew take their boats outside of the Marina and muster near the Martha Cove Marina entrance
10:30 – MCYS Members and Crew re-enter the Martha Cove Marina led by the Coast Guard vessel. First vessel behind Coast Guard will be “Etoile” carrying the Vice Commodore. No particular order thereafter
10:45 – MCYS Members and Crew boats sail past “M” Arm to salute the Official Party – Boats then return to pens
12:00 – MCYS Members and Guests meet at Martha’s Table within the Martha Cove Village, receiving a complimentary drink on arrival plus antipasto plates
12:30 – Official Ceremonies commence including Acknowledgement of Country, raising of the Australian flag, introduction of the Rear Commodores, National Anthem, Blessing of the Fleet, Commodore’s Welcome and Declaration of the Opening of the Season
1:00 – Continuation of food and festivities until 3:00
3:00 – Official Opening Day function is concluded with members and guests invited to stay for casual drinks

The Opening Day costs for MCYS Members are being subsidised with costs being $25 for Members and $50 for Guests.
