MCYS BAY TRAIL WALK (last Saturday of each month) – Saturday 28th May – CHANGE OF PLAN

MCYS BAY TRAIL WALK (last Saturday of each month) – everyone welcome!

Saturday 28th May – CHANGE OF PLAN – This month we’ll be meeting at the Point Nepean Quarantine Station car park at 10am and then walking to Portsea for coffee/brunch at Limani around 11am.

Join us for the walk or just coffee/brunch at Limani!

The Quarantine Station and Police Point are interesting areas of historic buildings situated alongside and within Point Nepean National Park.

Bunurong people count the area as having significant cultural value and was used over successive generations for thousands of years.  The reserve provides a refuge for the Long-nosed bandicoots amongst other rare fauna. Moonah woodland and grassy calcareous swales make it idea habitat for these small marsupials.

It also has stunning views across the bay from the Police Point lookout and the Quarantine Station beach.

This event is suited for all members, families, and friends (just no dogs for this one as it’s a National Park)

Please rsvp to social@mcys.com.au so we can book a table at Limani.

Looking forward to seeing you there!
