Departing at 9.30am from the Dromana Pier, we’ll head to the McCrae Lighthouse, with morning tea at Merchant & Maker, 675 Point Nepean Road McCrae. (one way – 47 minutes – 3.9kms) https://lighthouses.org.au/vic/eastern-mccrae-lighthouse/
This is the second leg of our journey and is a relatively flat walk with the options of beach or the trail, as we head around Anthony’s Nose towards the Lighthouse.
A SHORTER WALK OPTION
There’s parking near Permien Street Dromana and meet us at the Rotunda opposite at about 9.45am. The McCrae Lighthouse is a mostly flat 2.8kms from the Rotunda. Comment below if you’re choosing this option, so we can look out for you as we walk past.
THE COFFEE CATCH UP OPTION

Getting back: You can walk back to the Dromana pier (or Rotunda) via the beach or the track. Or if you prefer the 788 Bus will take you back (bring your Myki card).
