This is a great opportunity to “stretch your wings” in company with many experienced yachts and power boat skippers

Members who wish to attend but do not have a boat may find places available on yachts or powerboats intending to go. If you are in this position, please advise the commodore.

Likewise, if you want someone on your boat who is experienced, we may be able to assist.

We will have a BRIEFING on a Wednesday night at a time and venue to be advised.

Cruise plan:

Commodore John Hall will be the cruise official – John Hall – “Wingara II” – 0429 313 211 VHF and HF Callsign “Wingara II”. The itinerary will be sent to those who Register:

Both John Hall and member John Gordon (Club Equipment Auditors with Australian Sailing) can help you ensure that you have what is needed for CATEGORY 3 safety.

It is self-audit, but boats MUST comply and sign a declaration that the boat complies with CAT 3.

The main things needed are:

  • 2 anchors and rope or chain (50m minimum recommended)
  • Liferaft
