Join us this Saturday 26th November at 9.30am at the McCrae lighthouse for the 3rd leg of our Bay Trail walk.
Continuing our journey we’ll be walking from McCrae to Rosebud. See how the coastland changes as we walk past the shallow Rosebud beach with its sea grass that attracts swans and other seabirds. We’ll pass by the Rosebud pier and have morning tea at Hobson’s cafe (1489 point Nepean road Rosebud), before returning to the McCrae lighthouse.
It’s 3.8km mostly flat walk – 7.6 km if you walk back – or you can catch the 788 bus.
If you don’t feel like a walk – we’d still love to meet you for coffee – we should arrive at the cafe around 10.30ish (or just before depending on how fast we walk!)
If you’d prefer a shorter walk – just walk one way or meet us at half way at the Rosebud pier (let me know so we can look out for you!)
Let me know in the comments below or text Michelle on 0433 59 6151 if you’re planning to join us as we’re booking a table.
Hope to see all the regulars and it would be great to see some new faces too – see you Saturday!
