I refer to previous emails and Facebook posts regarding MCYS sailing with Safety Beach Sailing Club in the first 6 twilights.

Two of our member’s entries made pursuant to the suggestion by the SBSC Commodore previously quoted, namely that members could apply to sail in 6 races free of charge if they gave 48 hours’ notice and provided Safety and Insurance declarations have been rejected by SBSC. No reason has been given as yet, though it has been requested.

Accordingly, it will be business as usual and MCYS will run our own twilight races commencing Friday 6 November.

For tonight, we will do a declared ‘extras’ shakedown event for anyone who wants to participate in a coastal dash south to Dromana –PM mark and return.

Commencement times below. This will be an informal event, and the forecast looks to be somewhat inclement!
